When you have opened phoenix, click on model - edit - detailed - and you can move the c of g, model size, aerofoil section, and lots more. Have a play.

On the phoenix flight pics. Along the top are various headers that pop up when you move your mouse cursor up. Most of them are self-explanatory.

System - sets up or switches between your different trannies. (No not transvestites, Pol!)

Model - sets up which model you are flying, and in there you can tweak settings.

Flying site. - changes site, but you can also dial up the weather, wind, thermals, gusts, etc.

View - in here you can choose camera, which is where you are looking, etc, displays, which puts dials on your flying screen, showing various things as per the sub-headings in there. When you have a dial on your screen, you can move it to a different location by putting your mouse cursor on it, holding down the left-clicker, and dragging the dial to where you want it.

Flight Recorder - pretty obvious what that does!

Training - again self-explanatory - mostly for helithrashers.

Competition - different challenges for you to try. (or not, if you prefer!)

Multi-player - puts you on-line. Fill in the box with 'A' name - (doesn't have to be yours!) then you can choose to start your own site, or join someone else's from the list. Drag the bar down until you find one, left-click it, then left-click the box at the bottom that says join site.

If you have a mike and speakers/headphones, you can chatter with the others on there while you fly/spectate. OR you can type messages, just like in our chat-room. below the comments at the bottom, left-click in the very bottom line, type your words, and hit 'enter' to post it.

I think so. I didn't use that function much, but I think when you make changes, it 'saves' the new model as copy 1, copy 2 etc, so you can choose which one you want. The change is only on your computer, though, not on the mainframe, so nobody else can access your mods.

If you set up the changes BEFORE you go on-line, I think the settings are saved, so when you go online, you can select the altered one, or the original.

Default undos all your changes, and puts the model back to original settings.
