Hawk & F104

The Hawk I built for a friend finished in the Welsh red dragon markings of 208(R) Squadron.






With the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter I painted and ally foiled the fuselage on a Phillip Avonds model for the same friend.



I build them, but don`t fly them

I love Wren turbines.

That ally foil looks very impressive.
Can I ask how is it done?

i was thinking of asking the same question as i want to put panels on the front of my big hurricane.

I use Mike Reeves Metalcoat and his rivet system, www.mickreevesmodels.co.uk/~mickreev/Access/accessories.htm using a clock wheel on the foil can look effective as rivets.

the 3M 218 Fine Line Tape you can get from this company marineindustrial.co.uk/ they are Trade but will sell to the individual.
