Nice model. I'd like to know how the builder managed to keep the centres of gravity and pressure in the same place with wings forward and aft. I tried to do the same, a long time ago, with a slope-soaring Tornado, and gave up in the end.

Great question Eric. I will ask Mick when I next see him BUT I do recall him saying there was little perceptible change in flight characteristics with the wings swept and I don't think he has any trim changes programmed in when he sweeps either...but I will ask him.

I made a paper F-14 recently that would allow the wings to be made with different sweep angles. It flew in all configurations without re-balancing and no significant change in wing or tail incidences. I suspect there's a small C of G range where this happens, but outside of that you have to trim with changes of wing sweep
