Smoking FAST electric STINGER prototype EDF jet

Watched this fly at my local club today. Originally designed by my buddy Rich Chant and sold onto Tomahawk Design. This version is setup for bungee launch so is super light. AUW less batteries is 5lbs exactly. With 2 5s 3300 packs it's 7lbs. Schubeler DS-51 with a Lehner 1950/11 motor. This is an 8-10s combo. Setup pulls 63A @ 2500 watts on 10S.

is that a bungy pulling it up on take off very impressive camera work do you know how fast it goes very impressive

Thanks. Yeah, bungee off a ramp and released via a pedal. We reckon that was doing 150mph yesterday on some relatively old lipo packs. Will go 170-180mph with some fresh packs later in the year. Considering the poor light and cloud the vid actually came out a lot better than I suspected.
