LARGEST F-104 Starfighter jet was created by DominicM
This huge radio controlled 1:4 scale model, manufactured by AirWorld, is powered by a 300N gas micro turbine engine (BF300). Flights filmed at Top Gun 2015 competition held at RNLS Merryfield, UK.
Wingspan: 166cm/182cm with Tanks
Length: 417cm (270cm section for transport)
Weight: 20kg+

Yeah, I'm glad I caught that landing Garry. He's had a few problems in early flights. Paul was telling me that he was picking the nose up and trying to hold it on the power on finals but it would sink and stall very quickly. Flying into the approach and flaring at final moment was the best way apparently. Taking him a bit of time to fly this well but I think that's probably what makes it fun.
