How about this?! Powered by 2 Wemotec 90mm ducted fans. Not as stable as the real thing but not a bad effort. Flies quite well.

Brilliant. :cheer: :cheer:
A very good effort there, looks the part sir. :)

last year i built a fully working replica of the pegasus engine with vectored thrust, based round an 70mm edf running on 4s.
development was going ok and i was just getting it to hover when i ingested some fod and blew the edf unit up.
lack of funds has meant that i could not proceed any further.
a 90 mm edf and a rebuilt pegasus could be sorted, but the funds are just not there at the moment.
maybe one day.

...errrrrrr........... I have to say, Garry, the full-size is exactly like that with the autostabs switched off...ask me how I know!

Notwithstanding, what an achievement! It gets a big well done from me! :cheer: :cheer:

Really neat.
Would I be right is guessing it has a "raised" undercarriage - presumably to give ground clearance for the fan exhausts.
