Twin engined Su-27 Flanker was created by DominicM
Caught this very nice Su-27 flying at our first flying event of the year. Powered by 2 JetCat 180RX turbine engines. 3.1 metres long and weighing 24 kilogrammes. Built by Steve the owner and painted by Pinnacle Aviation.
Filmed in 4K resolution.

Nicely filmed ad a very good looking plane, the landing gear don't look right to me, it seems very flimsy compared to my Jet legend SU 27
Thank you for showing

Interesting observation. Nose leg does look especially spindly to me. Will take a better look when go to Classic Jets, Abingdon, this Friday.

D, did you manage to check out the undercarriage issue regarding the front leg? Boz

I've not seen Steve the owner since that event. Thought he would be at Classic Jets on Friday but he was elsewhere. Will ask him when I see him next.

I've just taken another look at Dominic, s video. regarding the undercarriage, take a look at the slow motion at the end it really does look like the front leg is not far from folding under, in fact I think the pitot has stopped there rether than taxi back.
With a slightly heavier landing there could be a problem, it's also slightly different to the one shown in BB picture, boz
