Steve Johnson, regular UK RC Show pilot, flies his new A-10 at BMFA National Visitor Centre in Buckminster. This Skymaster A-10 is 1:6.25 scale with length 2552 mm (101.3”) and wingspan 2784mm (109.6”). Dry weight is 20kg to 22kg (45-48Lbs) and the model needs 13-15 servos. I took a bit of creative licence and added some real GAU-8 gatling gun sound as its unique to the A-10. Steve told me he intends to get a backing sound track together with A-10 live firing to compliment his aerobatic display at shows next year. Looking forward to it !

Not onboard. On a track played over the speakers at the shows he flys at. He's hoping to synchronise his routine to the sound effects. I don't think that will be easy personally.

A sound effect module could possibly be linked into the Public address system, operated by the pilot/s at the correct moment.

Have a nice Day, unless I don't like you.

Hmmm ...... I admire the ability to build something like that and understand and instal the technology - and the piloting was quite good but conversely I get more of a kick out of seeing a well trimmed FF scale model performing. Probably reverting to my well spent youth? They are on occasions though useful pieces of kit in the real world.
