looks a cracking buy for £140!! Is it cheap for a reason though?
I am very tempted as my Futabe 6ex will soon be full up!

Apart from that, it looks nice. It doesn't say what system it uses, ie fasst or dsm. Also some of the functions only work with the frsky receiver. So you may end up spending a lot more on extra receivers!
p.s. on the extra link - it says this -
- external JR module slot
for Spektrum DSM-2 and DSM-X
So you have to buy another plug-in module to work your spekky receivers! = more expense!

Is it cheap for a reason ???? I honestly think so Dean. I have always said "There is no such thing as a free lunch". As Eric says there could be hidden extras. Be careful

Looks good value .Im wondering about Garrys comment.It maybe cheap in price but as its not a Name maybe its brilliant value.Certainly looks it to me.I saw one recently for £65 but you needed a module .looks a good bit of kit at a very reasonable price.

From what I gather it is not out until the middle of the month, hopefully their will be some reviews of it so will have to see what they say. I haven't read anything bad about the FrSky receivers, maybe a good sign?
I am thinking about long term as my Futaba 6ex will be full.
I was looking at the Futaba 14 sg but it is £370 so the FrSky looks tempting for the money.
At the minute I only have two models I fly so have just two Futaba Rx's so to sell my 6ex and Rx's and buy the FrSky and FrSky Rx's would be quite cost effective. However I really like my Futaba and have never had a problem with it and I am now used to he menus being able to alter things without using the instruction book.
I have plenty of time to decide it will be at least a year before my 6ex is full up!

In a years time, any problems etc will have been found and sorted, if there are any. Also there will be pleanty of reviews to study.

Dean, have you thought of buying a cheap Futaba 6EX on flea bay? The other alternative is to buy a T9CP on the bay and convert it to 2.4gig with the Futaba plug in module, then you can use the Campac system to extend the memories. That's what I did.

That's a very good point Klippy, another 6ex of eBay is a good idea, even better idea is a T9CP and buy a 2.4 ghz module hmmmmm got me thinking now.
