FrSky XM+ receiver

This is the new XM+ receiver, weighs in at 1.6gm! I've put it next to a 20p piece for size. Would you believe it's also Full range! Obviously being sbus there's only one connection. The game changer is FrSky's decoder which can be put anywhere in the aircraft. Using a simple tool the channel numbers in the decoder can be changed to anything up to 16. Where things get interesting is if you don't change the numbers and just plug in another decoder you will then have 2 Aileron, 2 Elevator, 2 Throttle and 2 rudder. I see a definite advantage here when using multi engine setups.
The total weight of RX + Decoder = 6.5gm half the weight of a standard modern RX!

If you are a racer the Firmware can be changed to give 8 channels (Latency) as opposed to 16, and the Decoder is compatible with Futaba. This means you can plug the FrSky Decoder onto the Futaba sbus and use your own preferred servos.
