Does anyone know how to get rid of this pop-up
It's the window on the bottom right. It started when I downloaded something from Softonic.
I use Avast Premium, paid for and it's detected nothing, if I follow the link it takes me to McCaffe who just want to sell me an Anti virus.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

I get these a lot from Mcaffee, telling me my account is expiring - and find them mildly amusing, as I never had an account there to start with. If you click on the 'reply to' button, you get all kinds of weird addresses, often in Russia or Uganda, if you can identify them at all.
I get all kinds of "You have won - - " messages from various places I've never used, as well.
I report them to a UK agency that claims to track down and eliminate them - I don't imagine it would work in S.A. but you might have one similar.

A few years ago my Windows 7 Pro became infected with something called something like "ideal home". It caused all sorts of spurious problems & nothing would get rid of it. It was obviously embedded somewhere deeper than where the usual malware lives.
Eventually I bought a disc with the operating system on it & reformatted my hard disc & reloaded windows in its entirety.
I don't know what browser you are using but you should be able to block pop-ups.
I use Mozilla Firefox which I find excellent, you can set your levels of privacy & security.
Read this
support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pop-blocker...a-true-pop-up-window
From your screenshot it looks to me like an advert not a pop-up.
If you go into control panel/Uninstall a propram you should be able to find the Macaffe program & uninstall it. On my wife's old Toshiba Windows 8 notebook I was forever having to get rid of it.
Whenever you download something you have to makes sure you have deselected anything else that come free.

I also only use Firefox, Block popups is checked. McCaffee is not installed and doesn't appear in my uninstall list. It appeared after I downloaded something from Softonic. If I click anywhere on the Popup it takes me to the McCaffee site, which appears to be genuine. I use Avast Premium which I trust and tells me I have no viruses (virii?)
The popup seams to happen every time I use a Microsoft product but I'm not entirely sure.

Firefox for me, too, and Avira anti-virus - but in the UK You-tube demands that you turn the ad-blocker OFF or it won't let you watch the tube vids! This is a new thing from about May or June, because so many people had ad-blockers, the tube wasn't making enough profit!
Re the "you have won" ones, I get them from Screwfix saying I've won toolkits, from Bosch saying I've won power tools, from the AA for first aid and road safety kits etc etc, none of which I have ever used! Someone I DO use has obviously sold on my email address!
My delete button works hard, as does the block button!

I've been having a look-around but couldn't find any inspiration.
The black box has the the softonic site address which suggests it came from softonic. Microsoft Edge is windows basic browser & cannot be uninstalled now.
All I can suggest is you work backwards from the latest installs through your installed programs until hopefully this bug goes as well.

With Win11 - Edge chrome is automatically removed. I was forever re-deleting it in Win 10!
I know about, and often used - control panel - add/remove blah blah.
