Dx6i Lipo conversion

Anyone with a DX6i converted their's to a 2S lipo?

I must of saved a fortune in duracel AA's.
And only need to charge it one twice every couple of months*
Depending how often I go flying.



If anyone is interested it's a 5 min job.
But not worth doing until the warranty has run out

Do you know if this can be done on the Futaba 8 fg

It should be a possibility,
All I've done is pigbacked the lipo connector to the + & - terminals.

This way, Whilst charging the lipo, I can still use dry cells to fly
