SUSSEX MODEL CENTRE was created by THE BLACKBIRD
I was flying my Precision Aerobatics Ulimate two weeks ago when the ailerons on the top set of wings flew off, both at the same time, and they are not connected to each other, in the process the connecting rods between the ailerons broke off.
I managed to get it down to land with no ailerons at all but damage the carbon spinner, wheel spats and broke one of the special light weight wheels.
The wings were full of holes from the ailerons, one servo arm had broken off. one carbon control horn had broken.
As it is built all that held the aileron to the wing is the covering film and three peices of sticky tape in the form of a V between the trailing edge and the aileron.
My thoughts were the hinge had given way on both ailerons, as it is not a cheap plane i contacted P.A. in Austrailia and sent them photos.
They came back with it was the servos fault, but i kept at them, and then it was the geometry of the pushrods fault, ( fitted as per the instructions ) then it was the control horns fault.
And all this time i was in touch with Sussex model centre from where i had bought the plane Nick the manager agreed with me as to the cause , anyway things got a bit heated between P.A. and me, they were not going to help with putting things right and when i told them what i though of them they got real shitty, anyway no help from P.A.
But Nick at Sussex Models got on to the distributors and they are sending me the parts to repair the plane. and Nick is sending me parts also.
I would like to recommend SUSSEX MODEL CENTRE to everyone out there, i dealt with them a lot and in all my dealing they have been first class
As for Precision Aerobatics there aircraft are the best i have come accross BUT THERE AFTER SERVICE IS LACKING.

I Bought my Four star 60 from them, I rang to find out if they were in stock but they didin't have one in but they said they could get one for me, I was expecting to wait a week or so but no it turned up 3 days later!!!
So because of that awesome service I then purchased my Flair Puppeteer from them yet again this turned up sooner than I was expecting.

Dean

Somebody called me 'pretentious' the other day.

I nearly choked on my latte.
