World's SMALLEST video drone/quad was created by DominicM
How about this? Smallest video drone/quad. Video resolution isn't high but it's not bad considering the size.

If they get any smaller we will need a magnifying glass to fly them
Thanks for sharing Dom

Thanks Garry. That isn't even the smallest. The cam necessitates it being bigger I think. I flew a smaller one last week and made me realise how bad my eye sight has got. Only flew it a few metres to the other side of the office (early one morning when nobody was in) and I lost sight of it. Cheers - Dom

p.s. Just worth adding that for the last section of the vid...I was holding the quad while I filmed my dog. A couple of fun police on another forum seemed to think I'm idiot enough to hover the thing almost on the nose of my beloved pet.

Even though I never post on RCME, I always have a daily look on there.
I see you have, as usual Dom, posted this vid on there, and apparently enraged two quite prolific posters on that forum. They must have been watching a different vid to the one I have watched, as up to now I have watched it 6 times, and where they have got the idea that you were flying the quad almost on the dog's nose escapes me. If those two posts had appeared on this forum they would have been instantly deleted and the posters requested to explain their remarks. Disgusting !!!!!!!!

Thanks Garry. In truth people will assume by default I'm a wally that I would do that type of thing. Human nature. Very easy to be an arm chair critic and for people to assume the worst. It's reminded me that I need to set a good example with regard to safety and compliance with law/regs when publishing these vids...while being entertaining at the same time of course.

Thanks for your support though buddy. Much appreciated. - Dom

I don't really want to go into the reasons. It wouldn't be constructive. I've learnt a few things from some comments I've received. I'll take some new footage and re-publish that particular vid when the weather improves. ;) ...along with reviews of 3 other bigger quads.

It had to happen!
I suppose it would go well with the Haynes manual for the Avro Shackleton 1949 to 1991 (all marks). :woohoo:
