This is the coolest looking drone I've come across so far. With 6 props, streaming video and control via the transmitter or a smart phone/tablet it's a fun thing to play with. Really only for indoors or a outside in light breeze.

Is there a drone/multirotor that can take a payload of about 16oz?

There definitely are drones that can lift that and a lot lot more. I'm currently more at the toy end of the drone market at the moment but when I start getting into kits that can lift that I'll definitely share.

Probably because I wasn't flying it Garry. It was in the hands of an expert. Cheers - Dom

There was an article running in RCME mag last year, reporting on comps on drones lifting weights, called I believe, "Heavy Lifters". some of the weights they could lift were jaw dropping Owen

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

There is - or was - a vid on You-tube, showing a pair of quads lifting a woman who was holding on to a trapeze-bar.
