Not often you will see a biplane jet. Just looks kinda weird...but it does fly well. Landing was a big disappointment. Not sure if it would be classified a crash. Will fly again soon!

Will not be buying one of those, not even a hard landing was it, just a blade of grass

Unusual yes but for such a powerful EDF it seemed a bit 'soft' to me. The field did look a bit bumpy but that take off was pretty marginal. ;)
On all types I would have thought an EDF was unsuited to the interference drag of a biplane (particularly with the top plane sitting on top of the fuselage) yet would gain little benefit from the extra wing area. .

Shades of that Russian biplane turbine-powered crop sprayer that was pictured on a thread on here a couple of days ago!

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

It seems the U/C wasn't even glued in.

Anything will fly given enough power

When the original turbine version of the Quantum came out from Tomahawk Designs it wasn't met with much enthusiasm so not surprised most think the EDF version is not pleasing to the eye. As for the retracts, yes, not much glue but fortunately no damage done and now in securely with gorilla glue I am told so looking forward to trying it out myself in the near future to explore its flight characteristics. I'll put a health warning on the next vid. :woohoo:
