70 inch wingspan.
flaps and retracts.

need to sit down now and work out how much wood i need to order to build this one and how much it is going to cost.


AND before anyone asks, i am not building four at once.

i can take orders, but they will be built one at a time.

not going to be cheap this one though.

Learned your lesson from the last lot Tony. Good, you cant work for nothing. Sorry, you can, but not much profit in that way of working.

Are you starting to build already? Didn't think you were starting till next year.... will have to save the pennies quick, haha. How many are you building??

not starting it yet just got the plans so i can do the costings and get bits ready.

Hmmm - that's a good question Tony but if I was building a full house version for a client - given that the client would supply motor, retracts and radio there wouldn't be much change - if any from about AU$1,000 - I leave it up to you to do the conversion to British Pounds. The last comparable warbird I built for a client - finished about 4 months ago - was a Mk 9 Spitfire and the client reckons he got good value for his money at around that price. Probably scare the pants off some people but your build quality is of a professional quality and that is what the work is worth in my opinion.

i can nail a bit of wood together.

i need to sit down and really look at this one to work out costs, then i can work out build time and costs.
i not greedy as long as i have enough to live i am fine.

Difficult one Tony.Have you thought of starting a thread on RCM and E ,there seem to be lots of people who want scratch build but not the capability.Ive even had people ask me to put ARTF together but have never done it,thats is another option,there are some incapable people out there.Good luck with it.The problem with scratch build is the time it takes.But you have that cracked because of the speed you can build at.But that should be to your advantage not others.Have you made a date as to when I can collect the Hurricane?
