Old Plans available was created by Bulleidboy
Hi,
I don't comment on here very often, but regularly read about the fantastic models being built. Anyway, I have been having a clear out and have the following plans which I was going to bin, but thought they might be of some use to someone. They are probably close on forty years old, and getting a little tatty on the folds. They may also still be available in a plans book?

Brian Taylor - Messerschmitt 109E
Brian Taylor - Supermarine Spitfire Mk9
David Vaughan - NA Mustang P51B
Big Wig - A high wing trainer - 84" span with flaps + Radio Modeller Dec 69 and Jan 70 which had the full building instructions - it would be great with a four stroke 60/91?

I don't want any payment, as I say they may be of interest to someone.

Hi Bulleidboy
The Big Wig sounds perfect for what I have been looking for. If it is ok I would like it please.
I am just off to the Nats to meet up with the rest of the chaps from the forum so I can sort out my address with you later.
Let me know how much you need for payment for postage?

Thank you
Dean

Hi Dean
That's fine, let me know your address when you get back, and I'll send it on. I'm not worried about postage. It's a big plane.
regards
Barry

PS last time I went to the Nats, was in about 1963! Seem to recall the Taurus was the aircraft to have (Topflite?) with a Merco 49 or Veco 61.

Thanks Barry very generous of you, Are you sure you don't want anything for the postage?
I will PM you my address.
I am new to building part way through my first two plan builds, the big Wig sounds a perfect model for me learning to build something large, as eventually I want to plan build A ziroli Stuka and a TN 134" Lancaster.
It is my First time at the Nats, Got to say I was taken back with how big it was and just how many people camp there.

Hi Bulleid - if I thought I would ever build it, I'd take the Spit plan off you, so bear me in mind if nobody else wants it, rather than bin it.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Hi Barry
Just back home from the Nats, you sound about as old as me with your reference to 1963 Nats, I was 28 at the time. However about 10 of our active members are camping there, and will not be home until Monday, so please dont get rid of the plans till they have had time to see the thread.

I've had them for forty years, a few more days will not be a problem. I'll hold on to them until nobody is interested.

Hi

Dean - I have posted off the Big Wig plans and RM with building instructions today.

Eric - if you email your address I will send you the Spitfire plans.

Tony - again if you email your address you can have the ME109 and P51 - I think there may also be a KK Super 60.

To you all - these plans are brittle on some of the folds, so a roll of sticky tape may be required.

If on receipt they are not for you, please pass them on to any one who might be interested.

Tony - I expect to see the P51 in the air in about a fortnight - lol!

Regards to all

Barry
