Dug this out after ignoring it for 18months.
repaired the damage to the fuselage and started to mount the top wing center section.

All the 8 front mounts to the top wing are fixed in place and you can pick the model up by the wing without it falling off. :cheer: :cheer:

so i started on the rear mounts, i have another 8 of them to make and fit.
done two and clamped the wing firmly to get the right incidence (we hope)

hope to get another 2 struts made and fitted over the week end.

If you had nothing to worry about, you would still be worried. :woohoo:  [badass]

Several people on here worry about having nothing to worry about, and as this is an irrelevance, when everyone has had a smile, it can be deleted without asking me.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Jeez - it's just as well there are a couple of Colonials on here to give you Imperialist Fella's a helping hand - surely you know that the secret to a happy life is to learn to complain without suffering, to only worry about nothing and to ignore any real problems!! :woohoo: :woohoo:   [badass]

well i cocked this one up didn't i. :(

when i started building it 2 years ago, i was a newbie at this building lark and never gave a thought about how the wings were going to go on.
Now i have the center sections all fitted secure, i have no method of fitting the outer wing panels designed.
been faffing about trying to retro fit some joiners.
what a bloody PRATT aint i.

sheesh.

makes a change Eric. :P

right i have cut some joiners and is gluing them into the upper wing panels.
need to box them in yet and make up some boxes for the fixed section.

the bottom wings bolt on and are braced round the fitting area.
I am hoping that the rigging will help strengthen the wings. fingers crossed.
they fit something like this.
