Here we go chaps.

take one car steering wheel boss, machine down to fit round the brushless motor.
i had to take all the bush out of the casting and open the end up for clearance, then machine a rebate in the other end to take the motor mount.
the next job is to mark it up for the bolts, that will act as the cores for the dummy cylinders.

This may not be much to those with an engineering background, but to a person who has not touched a lathe since he left school 40 years ago, i am well chuffed.

marked the bolt holes out now by using a wrap round tape measure and measuring the circumference and then dividing it by 7 and marking the holes with a pencil.

i have started drilling the holes now to just mark them better and will finish them off in the vice tomorrow.
