well as i blew one of the edf's in the harrier project and i am stuck till i get four new stronger ones.
i had three working edf's lying round.
And Andy made a suggestion earlier, i decided to have a quick play after doing some work on my sons car.

a pair of lite ply frames.
and a bit of depron.

we have a start.

It's raining sooooooooooooo i cut these before i had to go to work this morning.

will cut the other two fuselage cores later and glue them all together.

got some small retracts in the store as well.

might cut the wing cores if i get the time as well.

I think you might have to trim the side motor mounts down a bit to emulate the 'podded' engines of the full size!

yeah your right, but i am not that worried about it being fully scale, just close enough will be good enough for me.

well got nowt done really today, been stuck with paperwork all day.

got the other fuselage core stuck on and that's it.

finally got some time to work on the trident today.

wing spars and dihedral braces.

will continue with the wings tomorrow and try to get them finished.

Looks very nice but with 3 EDFs and batteries to suit its not exactly going to be a lightweight.

well the wing is nearly ready for the ailerons to be cut out and the top sheet to go on.
pu glue is ok, but it aint half messy to look at.

Well today i sanded and painted the workshop door.
Then i did some modelling.
wing sheeted.

got the wing tips to do some time and then the ailerons and flaps.

made up the two battery boxes in the front of the fuselage and added some more formers.

got a hole cutting session to do soon.

done some little bits.

need to fit the retracts next. then fit out, then sheet the fuselage, then engine pods, then cover and paint.
