This one will be a conversion of a FF model into RC for the BMFA Scale Indoor RC Nats in the Autumn.

The model was first built in 1990 and it scored well in FF Scale comps in the 00s. In the mid-90s it formed the basis for the Aerographics Models Lacey M-10 kit which has been one of their most successful sellers. The kit prototype model has been used successfully in the Air Race and Mass launch fun-events at the BMFA Nats over the past 20 years.

Sooo, the first job was to find the Lacey box...and wouldn't you know, it had to be at the bottom of the pile:

it's amazing what you find in model boxes that have been stored for some years. As well as the prototype Kit Lacey and the old FF, soon to be RC, Lacey, there's the front end of a No-Cal Bonzo, a motor stick for the same and a canopy plug for a Jetex model:

The kit looks like this, with a picture of the finished model on the front of the box....will mine ever look like that again, I wonder.....

I keep finding spare cat-fur in my storage boxes, and I'm pretty sure that little crumbled mess used to be mouse-bones! [badass]

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!
