In a fit of daftness I bought one of these.   
 
£19.99 delivered and in 2 days!
An EPO chuck blider but rather bigger at 1200mm span than the 860mm of the LIDL XL
   
An obvious convesion to an RC power glider. Although EPO is almost indestructable it is quite a bit heavier than XPS and It is also more flexible so needs reinforcing even as a chuck glider. Carbon tube spars included in the box!
I got the LIDL to 226g ready to go powered so sub 250g but the FX707S weighs in at 280g as a glider!. There is 83g of ballast but removing that still does not leave much for motor, ESC, Rx, servos and battery and still keep below 250g.

Good find, tho' sadly I have too many from garage sale to work on first.

I also bought one of these gliders but the plastic tray the wing screws to is missing.

Bad luck.
Are the plastic bits for the tail plane and fin mounting present? 

Everything seems to be there apart from that one plastic tray, been onto the seller just waiting to see what he says.

Also not sure if you have noticed there is a hole right at the back of the fuzz which I think the short carbon spar is meant to be slid inside  to give it strength.

The short length is the right size for this purpose.

You are missing the rear wing mounting plastic bit as well.
Hope the dealer comes up with a solution. I doubt replacement wing mount trays are likely so matbe a complete new fuselage.

You seem to be missing this plastic rear wing mount. 

There should be a long and short carbon tube. The long one goes into that hole in the fuselage. It is long enough to go all the way down the rear fuselage.
The shorter one is a wing brace. There are holes in the wing quite close to the leading edge. Both tubes are the same diameter.

That plastic mount is there, as for the carbon rods the long one is to long for the fuzz the long one will go no further than were the arrow is., the short one is the right one for the fuzz

Got confused as ! shortened both rods on mine.
Any luck with the front wing mount?. It is of course factory fitted so at best it might be a long wait from China.

I got an email from the seller today asking for a few days to contact his supplier,
he was told that my sales contract was with him and not his supplier so will just wait and see what happens.
I prob won't use the mount might make something better, but thats not the point.

As for the rod's don't worry about it.

Easy enough to make Eric as you said, or a bit of fiberglass board, just a bit annoying when you bought something and bits are missing.
