Just got a renewal quote for my van insurance last year i thought was expensive for third party only five years no claim @ £600+ so this year it is going to cost me £ 1380 not bloody likely
Looks like i have a van for sale
I could go to S,A, on that money

most of us have had, or will have that experience. I understand some of the increase as parts supply has become scarce, but I think overcharged because they can.

And some is caused by the increase of drivers without insurance, (and license - including our 'temporary guests') and although nobody will admit it, the increase in vehicle fires.
So those of us who DO pay, are carrying the cover for those as well.
Plus - whether you like it or not - a Berlingo van is considered to be a commercial vehicle - even when it is never used for commerce - and that also attracts a higher rate.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Tony BB - If I recall, you have a Berlingo, like me. £ 1380 - are you sure that's not a typo - mine is £385.11 fully comp!

Hi Eric no its not a typo, i will look around but i suppose my age is something to do with it ( 84 on Oct 3 dont forget

) why they punish us elder drivers i dont know, i drive better now than ever before much slower,
Just been to Tescos and found it a bit hot in my thermal vest
