You betcha, although it is a bit idiot proof, there are even markers that will match up when you get it right.

They look very nice.
I note that in the manual they suggest the hinges are printed from a special flexible material. Is that what you have done? On the face of it that would seem to be a rather extravagant way of doing it.

To be pedantic are they not elevons rather than ailerons? ;)

To be honest I'm not sure what you'd call them, they are coupled to the rudder (50%) The manual does call the driver servos, aileron servos. but I see they also act as elevators, so Elevons would be more correct.
The hinge material is TPU, it's an elastic material that can be stretched to 500% before breaking. I bought some since I have some other uses for it. I also couldn't see how to adequately secure the wings into the fuselage.

Tailerons? That's what they are called on the Tornado = pitch and roll
-
or - Ruddevators? =pitch and yaw?

My life isn't my own at the moment but I did manage to look at gluing the wing panels together.

The small slots you see take small PLA tabs to aid registry. As you can see there's also a 6mm carbon tube that goes through the inner panel and 100mm into the 2nd panel.

The lines are only microns of overtravel where the inner supports are located, they'll sand out (I hope).
At this point I noticed that the tube in the port inner was super tight. Then I realised the panel itself was very heavy. Further comparison showed the Starboard inner panel at 21gm, the port inner at 33gm, oops. I've had to print another.:(

That's the inner panels glued together.

It remains to be seen if I can get the carbon rods out, the manual says don't glue them!
I've already glued the outer 2 sections together, glue the halves together next.

Looks like it is coming together nicely.
I thought the carbon rods could be used for additional strength.

The rods did come out, very easily. The rods are part of the flight structure, just not glued in for some reason.

Just a quick shot of the fuselage, If it looks odd it's because it's printed in clear PLA, I have a spare roll double ordered by accident.
You can see the complete wings in the background.

What are you using to glue LW-PLA?

Hi Jon, Cyano is recommended but the only stuff I have just seems to wick in and do nothing so I'm using Uhu-Por which seems to work really well on what I've done so far. The manual does say use medium viscosity cyano, but I don't have any.:(

I would agree that UH POR does stick well to LW-PLA.
Not that surprising really as POR is a foam glue and LW_PLA is.....er......a foam"

Of course POR will not create the 'instant' joint of Cyano but if the printed part have 'good fit' joints then no problem
