I recon there is lots of life left in my merco 35, I just need a straight spray bar and needle assembly to replace the pre bent one.
I will keep searching, and getting the stuff needed to repair the damaged one.
Will post a thread on its repair when the time comes.
Mecoa of the USA may have parts but t they are difficult to deal with, still awaiting a reply from an enquiry !

Duh, actually it was for a JB Atom!Klipkopwildlife wrote: Rich, what are the chances of you giving me an accurate drawing of the whole assembly, I made a Mills spray bar and needle for John Mantova that worked pretty well?

Turns out the " jet assembly" ( see mecoa, merco parts exploded view ) according to an old ripmax catalogue is the same for the 29, 35 and 61.
I have found some brass nuts that fit the threads on the brass spray bar so may be able to solder it on and repair the bent/ broken one.
I gunna use the 29 spray bar jet assembly and needle to get the 35 running and bench tested, then refitted to the dB Gyrace model.
Eventually I will be tempted to fly it after a thorough check over.
The rotors need a proper bearing rather than the tube/shaft set up it has at the moment. There is drag and play meaning the rotors are not totally free to rotate, and " wobble" thus creating even more drag and "robbed" rotation, noise etc.. They will not create equal lift as is so won't fly well if at all.
I think I will start a thread on this model as a good place to store info and general interest, but it's on the back burner for now.
Kitchen roof not leaking ( dam that's done it ) at the moment, bike needs starter motor sorting and the car is still up in the air motless...and it's raining again. Paradise...
