Somebody called me 'pretentious' the other day.
I nearly choked on my latte.

Just spotted an advert on the BMFA classifieds for a swap meet in Loughborough on the 8th of December a Sunday, is anyone going? Or fancy meeting up for it?

This one slipped my mind Dean. It is the club I joined a few weeks ago, when I found that Swinderby would be unavailable after 20 th of Dec
I will poss be there, as it is supposed to be a good one . I attended Retford swap meet a couple of weeks ago, and was very disapointed

Where abouts is their flying field Garry?
It says on the advert the tables are sold out, so hopefully it will be ok!
Also don't know if it is of interest to you Garry, a very friendly chap bought my Prangster off me and he told me that the RAFMAA are trying to get a club reformed on RAF Wittering. RAFMAA membership is now open to civilians £16 a year bargain!!! I am seriously thinking of joining them,
Not sure if it is to far for you to Travel Garry.

The Loughborough club have 2 flying sites. The one I attend is at Wymswould, and belongs to the club. Grass, flat as a pancake and kept very short.
RAF Wittering is almost 2 hrs away from me Dean, and as I have the 2 clubs I am a member of just 25 mins away, I think I will pass, but thanks for the heads up.

I'll be coming to the AGM dinner on Tuesday 3rd December if I possibly can .... I don't know if I'll be able to come back later the same week for this.
I may as well come for the flying session on Tuesday, .... stick around for the AGM Tuesday night .... I'll be too tired to drive back by then, so I'll stay over until Wednesday .... I suppose I could hang around until Sunday .... then it'll be near enough to the next Tuesday flying session, .... so I may as well stay 'til then ..... Oh SOD IT!!!! .... I'm coming to live there. :silly:
I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!
