A trivial thing that has popped up after last night's spam attack -
A single spam can be reported - but if a whole load of them pile in, when you report the first one - ok, but the second and subsequent ones gives you a duplicate post warning, so you have to keep changng the report text!

Morning Eric, the problem with this kind of spam is that if a person wants to go through the joining process and then post rubbish, we can't stop it. If we stop it, then we stop the ease with which genuine members can join. I'd rather deal with the spam. To be honest you don't have to report spam more than once, since I will see it as soon as I login in the morning.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Since Mike 'updated' the forum, earlier, it now uploads extremely slowly - circa 2 minutes - then gives you an erroneous time-out warning, because if you left-click the arrow, to go back a page, whatever you posted is there!

Agreed.
I have found a 'work around'.
Rather than wait simply post the same thing again it quickly tells you it has ignored the second post but lo and behold the first post is shown posted.

Looking into it.
No updates to the forum, we're just routing traffic through a web application firewall (Cloudflare)
Will look at our configuration.

In my testing (You wont see this, I have a private thread) I have found this issue even when doing a normal post, without adding any pictures etc.
Is this the same for everyone else?

It is only an issue with a redirect after a successful post. The page hangs and fails to redirect.

Yes, Mike just text causes it to hang and time out. I've not tried posting photo's.

Yes, that does it, too - hangs then times out.
If you wish - delete this when you've seen it, to save cluttering up the thread.

Same for me both test only and text with pictures.
The quickest way to provoke action is to send the post again which quickly causes "Duplicate post ignored" message but the first is shown correctly posted but I don't like doing it.
