a week ago I spent time on this model at the field after a so far disastrous day.one thing led to another and what was to be an engine run grew into a maiden. And disaster struck once more.Im rebuilding it at the moment the front including tank came off as did the 2 wing mounts Ive glued the floor the tank slides onto back and the front engine mount is now back in position ready to be glued back. The back wing support is glued in and the front wing mount in position ready to be glued.I have yet to determine the reason for its diastrous take off and will check throws etc once I can put it back together

If my memory serves me correctly Stephen, you had all these problems some time before, which prompted you to get rid of all your Spekky gear and change to Futaba, and the problems are back again??? I never changed, and still fly Spekky and dont crash There must be a moral there somewhere.
I have an almost new DX7 for sale, perfect condition

the rebuild is going well like doing a jigsaw. There are small areas of damage on the wing and horizontal stabiliser that shouldnt be to difficult to repair. The main repair was the whole front end and wing plates where the bolts go in.The front is now just the top and the rest are small repairs
