Precedent T180 was created by The Beard
i bought this model off E bay a few years ago and when i arrived to collect iy it still had a Laser 4 stroke in it I think its a 50 but unable to see a marking.I have enjoyed flying this model very much but always had to spend time getting the engine running.Once running its perfect.Last time I took it to the field it wouldnt start so it been confined to the shed.I have a new in box SC52 4 stroke and today decided as I need an easy life at the flying field I would put this engine into the T180.Its going well so far but im not getting a connection with the electrics so charging batteries to make sure the one used is fully charged. The cowl only needs some cutting for the silencer and then fiddling the silencer into position and connecting the throttle ,Ive found a broken hinge on the elevator also

the replacement of the hinge went smoothly but I found a crack in the other elevator where they join and yhis has been epoxied.no problems with exhaust just needs tightening and the cow is ok needs screws.Fit a new glow to the engine then find and check the wing and run the engine up in the garden

Mr B, as one hinge was broken, and one cracked, I'd replace them all, as it sounds like the plastic is going brittle. Yopu don't want any important bits falling off in mid-flight!

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Mr Beard, you don't need to worry about getting things done asap, just remember you need to take it easy, we can wait for your recovery, get yourself fit before you concider other things.
We want you back to good health.boz. :)
