Apart from an indoor heli, I've not had a model in the air since October, and now the muppets have planted trees all over the flying site.....I've got to find somewhere new, or go over to aircraft with fans of one sort or another on them.

We'll get told off now, for going off-topic!

Start with the Orme Eric .... it must be quicker for you, you're right on the motorway .... Feed bloody Missy & I'll play taxi ...... now you can remind either me or Garry to delete both of us.

This was a damn good thread until we butted in .... my apologies, we will get deleted & the thread cleaned .... but at least you know we're reading with interest. :)

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

You need to speak to Mike, I'll get him to PM you with some stat's.
We get thousands of viewers every day & they just don't want to sign up ..... but they keep coming back & looking at certain threads ..... yours are near or at, the top of the list.
If you were watching a live play, would you keep jumping in & interrupting it with a comment?
Maybe some people just like to read & learn.... when you are being watched by thousands, don't knock it.

Pol

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

Finding where to fit different pieces of equipment is interesting, decided to fit the hopper tanks each side of the nose wheel
I made two brackets to hold them

Need to fit two header tanks for the fuel lines, these are to clear the air from the pipe lines should any get in there, air getting through to the turbine would cause a flame out, the turbine would shut down
Desiding where to fit different pieces of equipment is prooving interesting, decided to fit these each side of the nose wheel so i can see them when the canopy is off
I made two brackets to hold them

If there are any Jet pilots out there any advice would be welcome, as im new to this

Iv also found a problem, the nose wheel steering servo has a mounting bracket buiilt into the nose wheel mounting, but it is directly above the leg and the leg retracts forward
I cannot see how it can be conneted

The servo has to be connected to the two pins on either side of the leg, with the leg retracting foward then the servo will have to be in front of the mounting
I will have to make a bracket to place the servo to the front and connect it to the pins with a wire pull pull system, i think

That seems feasible, BB, or you could put the servo behind, with a pushrod to a 180 bellcrank in front, then wires back to the leg. How do you intend to ensure that the wheel stays straight when the leg is retracted - to avoid jams?

Iv made a bracket for the servo out of some ally angle

It will fit this way up and ill bolt it to the origanal servo bracket, this will place the servo well in front of the steering pins and i will connect with cable for a pull pull system
Had to lift it higher to clear the nose leg

I think the nose will be ok because the air flow past it and the weightfrom the gaurd will be below when it is raised
