THE CYPRUS 1/4 SCALE SPITFIRE was created by THE BLACKBIRD
Seeing as the sun went in and it rained the other day i thought winter had come, so i started a new winter build, as there is no point in finnishing the big A10 Thunderbolt for two turbines as i only have one now
SO i have blown up by 75%the free plan that was in the RCM&E the TN Spitfire, it comes out at 126" wingspan so a little bigger the a 1/4 scale
Im doing it electric as i have already bought the motor last year BUT im makeing provision for converting to petrol power if need be, thought about a Zenoah 62 with a Mick reeves torque reducer
Trying to build from the stock under the bench so i made the fire wall from two laminates of 6mm birch ply and the rest from 6mm ply from the local building site :) :) :)

As you can see i lost my building room in the house and now have to make do in a 8'x 8' cupboard downstairs, also in there are three jets the SU27, the HUNTER and the NAVY CAT so its a little crowded to say the least

From your experience BB I have reservations about running so close to the upper voltage limit on ESCs.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Thing was Klipy i was no where near the limit with the SR 71 just a fauty esc that Fast ladd performance should not have sold to me in the first place as they were faulty, and they still have not got back to me over the loss of the SR
Would i deal with them again
I intend to get a 24x12 APC and rigg it all up and give it a good testing and see how much trust, consumption and run length i get

There is to much lack of liability in model flying and manufacturers get away with to much

You certainly build some great aircraft Murdoch that looks very good, i like the weathering
And i always thought Norfolk was flat but the scenery behind you looks nice and hilly
