Just realized, this is my 2000th post.
There is nothing like a dream to create the future.
Electrickery is the work of the devil.

In the end i had to get a big screwdriver and break the mould into hundreds of bits then had the chisel the glass from the plug off the mould, unbelievable
Got a little damage to the mould but not too bad,
Also released one of the mudguards for the Bucker it came out ok but i think it could do with a couple more layers of cloth on it, bit flexy
Still no camera

I fear what you have discovered is the 'critical first mould' issue. I was told it took some time (weeks) for the polish to sink into the surface in such a way that the resin would not adhere to it. There after the more it is used the easier the release becomes.
We made a mould from a completed canoe quite successfully but when we came to use it a complete disaster! The laid up glass would not separate. We then admitted defeat and hired a commercial mould. It looked exactly the same as the one we had made but of course it had been polished & used many times over a long period. The half canoe shells we laid up popped straight out - very frustrating.

been doing a bit on the canopy
And the blisters over the engine, it was a mixture of balsa and foam, and then i decided to go for a petrol engine and made it all into a hatch
So it had to cover the foam on the inside, did that with a kellogs cornflake box and glassed it all inside
