That glide looks pretty good to me Sarah, well done! You really do need to find an indoor site now don't you!

A thought. Rather than pinning the tail on while waiting for the glue to dry, have you thought of using hair clips. My sister's a hairdresser and supplied me with these:

I'm sure you must have some lying around doing nothing somewhere......

Great build Sarah, and from my untrained ted it looks to glued perfectly!!

Somebody called me 'pretentious' the other day.

I nearly choked on my latte.

I use all kinds of things to hold small parts together while glues 'go off', from paper-clips, to wooden clothes pegs, old tired-out bulldog clips, and the purpose-made spring clamps. The thing to watch out for is that the 'hold' isn't so strong that it bruises the wood. That creates a weak spot.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

For some obscure reason, the head is a napper!

Cockney rhyme uses two words to describe something,
apples and pears = stairs

north and south = mouth

John Wayne = train

etc etc etc. :)

Sarah
That looks very good indeed.
If you do find somewhere big enough to fly just remember to use a few turn to start with in a sort of extended glide.
If it flies nicely slowly increase the number of turns each flight so you can see if any fundamental tendency is starting to show. It may need some adjustment to perform properly under full power.
