I stand corrected Sir! Mind you, if you look at it the gunner is going to have extreme difficulty getting that Lewis gun around the corner.

after some research i have found that the whole wire frame rotates with the top ring, so the poor gunner doesn't have to get the gun round the corner.
so we were both right. :cheer:

gun number 3 and scarf ring under construction.

drawings for the engine pods now done as well.

i will need to try and work out the all up weight soon , so i can decide on what size engines to purchase. :blink:

top gun. (no tom cruise jokes needed)

cockpit canopy started.

its got to be sanded down, interior paint and pilot figure.
then glazed on the outside and have another frame built over the glass.
then painted.

Nice one Bloop, I see you've done nothing about magazines for the Lewis guns, they had a large drum that fitted flat over the breech block, use, don't use it.

Are the specs part of the glazing?:dry:

little bit more done.
the canopy comes off to uncover the receiver and servo battery.

not the most productive of days.
been gardening most of it.
still i did manage a wee bit more.
canopy is fitted now and blended in.
then this evening i had a play with the blue foam.
