Very true mate. I like the idea of trying one with floats too, but knowing my luck it'd end up as a submarine  Twinstar 2 first though, so it could be next winter

Im shortly about to refurb my Funcub using an Easycub kit I bought from Sangoma.Im not bothering with flaps and hope to strengthen the motor mount area to prevent the vibration Ive incurred with age on my present Funcub.Hopefully some of this thread will be of assistance to Sarah as she builds her fist model also a Funcub.Because of the size of motor she uses,ir will not need strengthening.

This is slightly off topic but I'll deal with it here briefly because that thread is locked until I get a reply from Sarah..
You won't see anything wrong in Sarah's thread because Garry has edited out the swear words (including mine)
I made a simple mistake & allowed the thread to start with swearing allowed by Sarah..... I shouldn't have done this because it's in the "Build threads" category & we want them to be kept serious & clean. .... that doesn't mean to say they can't be funny ..... just no swearing please.
Sarah now has the choice of either keep the language clean & leave it in "Build threads" .... or allow the swearing & we'll move it to the "Chat" threads ?
It's a simple choice & it's entirely up to her .... I've just locked it until she lets me know which way she wants it to go ..... the thread can then resume.
It was as much my mistake as anyone elses & I apologize for any confusion.

Pol.

I thank you Stephen, this is originally your thread & you've allowed me to go off topic to explain a minor misunderstanding .... the thread is now back to you. ;)
