I use Futaba, and have always left the (for electrics) throttle trim centred.
I've always had to reverse the throttle, to get a speedo to work in the correct sense, but have never had the problems of losing bind - once in - it STAYS in!
Just bear in mind that most speedos - if the throttle is more than half open, go to setup mode, so if you plug in the lipo with the throttle open, you will simply be resetting everything. You need to know the beep-codes, (in the handbook for the speedo) to get it right.
If you get the long beep, then a number of short beeps, then you close the throttle, you have reset whatever that beep-code meant!
To reset it all, you have to unplug the lipo, and start again, unless you have a programming card that suits the speedo.

yes Eric I did read the instructions first to get the programme correct/,The problem was the throttle setting .Im using a second hand receiver and the throttle setting was set at 50% so reset to 100 and it now is bound perfectly.thanks Querneng and thanks Garry and as always Eric The A Team
