Hi all,
This is what I use, although more expensive, produces great HD pictures and good video. Can be used for a live downlink to monitor or goggles. I just use it for pics and video. Also can attach a servo for up/down movement.

Some of my pics with this camera of just outside Berwick on tweed, on the coast.

I received another camera today, bit more expensive but looks a lot better. The lens swivels up and down so I may be able to angle it better..Its called a Linoo Fly DV and claims 2 and a half hours working time.it comes with a small CD that I have nowhere to play ,I have placed my 808 keyfob camera top right for size comparison.

Beard, your standard dvd/cd player in the pc will accommodate this little disk. There will be a circular depression in the tray that the disk will fit into, exactly the same as a standard 5" disk.
The disk will be your download drivers, but modern windows (xp upward) should do it anyway.

like this -

Yes, I know the small disk, is upside-down! I did it on purpose for better contrast, as a speckly grey disk doesn't show up very well in a speckly grey tray!

I fly cameras all the time and never have a problem with professional grade velcro- what you want to do however is add some good glue to the sticky pad- don't trust the tape alone- and another word to the wise- if you put a camera on the outer edge you will multiply wobble and vibration effects- closer to the center of the plane gives you a more steady image- I have 91 videos on youtube and most are of rc planes with cameras aboard- I don't know it all but have some experience- but I always say if you want to try something- go for it- here is a video We created fairly recently- be prepared for motor and wind noise as I don't do music- i am all about the flight...several cameras used- I like the view from the tail

Interesting video with both models up at the same time. One of my first models was the Easuistar and for the camera I(m using a Fun Cub.
