Hi all!
New member here, recently joind as i found this forum by mistake whilst looking for info or anyone's experiance on the galaxy models acro, Instead i found you guys on here & the bad news about galaxy
the large box & showed me all the bits & began to tell me a story of a friend of his who fitted a super tigre 2000 up front
& that the aircraft had some performance! So after about two weeks ebaying it up i managed to get hold of pucker ST2000
(yes its the 25cc italian one & has the radial mount) its a beast!
Anyway does anyone happened to have owned an acro? How does she fly being my main question
I have re modelled the vertical stab & rudder to resemble that of a private german built laser Z230 that i intend to recreate in 1/4 scale, the canopy too will be re modelled & maybe the cowl.
Most of these aircraft are solely created from the stephens akro & i find tweaking models like the full size pilots do very interesting. Picture attached is of the aircraft i am basing my model on.

stephens akro laser has been taking up most of my spare time along with christmas with 4 kids & my birthday.
I have many photo's of the build & it is coming along ok, there has been some minor problems with this build & all will be revealed, all i can say is the kit was very basic! dissapointing considering the price it now costs where the kit is being sold, the money i have spent on fitting & missing bits alone would amount to a ARTF but hey! that would not be aviation modeling now would it...

You will find as you read through the various posts that there is an on going war between myself - as the upholder of proper engines and that bloody Black Wizard AKA the Gasser. Don't be worried though - we don't have any real anamosity but we do have fun. Actually the Gasser is a bloody good bloke - although I'd never tell him that - and if he'd only grow up and give that electrickery stuff away he'd be much better adjusted - I'd even offer to guide him into the light.
I'm sorry but, like the other blokes, I can't offer much help with your build however if you have general questions there are quite a few really skilled scratch builders on here and there is no doubt we will try to help if we can.
Oh - I am also the second craziest bloke on this forum. There is no need to name that person who is number one!

Also i wont be decorating the acro in the scheme i had previously planned, although it may seem a simple one i tried cutting my own lettering & markings & just could not get it to look rite.
