I seem to be having a bit of trouble finding details about the specs for the supplied motor in mine. Dont forget this was supplied with the model as a second hand deal
Motor is a Cermark CEM 5020-650 it was supplied with a 13 x 8 electric prop
ESC is a 4 max 100 A, which may be a little over the top, but it works
Now the fun starts, lets see if we have any pics lol

Managed to get some time in on the Curare yesterday. Built the basic fuselage and now needs carving to shape. Going to mold a nose cowl rather than make one from balsa.

Had some time last night to start on the wing. I'm going to try a new method of jigging the wing. This involves two rods supported at each end with the ribs mounted on the rods. By putting holes in the ribs and threading them onto the rods alignment is assured. Well thats the theory!! 
So jigged up the starboard wing and must say it looks straight. I even ran a laser across it and it was spot on. So out with the glue and see what happens.

I'm still here. Happy New Year.
Its only taken 4 years but the Curare is finished!! A few other builds got in the way. Maiden tomorrow.

Welcome back Ralph! happy New year to you to, model looks lovely, good luck with the maiden...reminds me of a Hanno Prettna model...very nice.
Edit...just read the first post..it is a Prettna design! met him a couple of times years ago, lovely bloke, now sadly confined to a wheelchair
