I agree - nice catalogue - and plenty of drooly parts and gadgets - but I think buying a CNC kit defeats the purpose of learning to build from plans. To my mind the idea is to start off with a plan and a heap of raw materials. Cutting out the parts yourself gives you an insight into building and structures that you will never get from building a kit. The whole purpose of scratch building is that you really do make the bloody thing yourself and derive that little glow of satisfaction you get from being able to say "I did it all myself".

Thanks for that link Eric spent ages trawling through all the goodies on there!

Grumpy- I had a look at the Senior Telemaster you suggested like it and its a nice big model, but they don't seem to sell just the plans on their website? Also I had a look at the pictures of your powerhouse I quite like that but I drew a blank on finding the plans on the internet.

Dean - go to this website - unclewilliesplans.com/index.html and then page 34 on the index - The Powerhouse is about half way down the page.

A Good site for free plans is - www.outerzone.co.uk/index.asp

I can give you the plan for the Senior Telemaster when I have finished it but don't get to excited - it's in the early build stages yet and I'd send it to you by surface mail - takes a bloody heap of time to get to the UK from down here.

We all have our own thoughts on colour Dean. :P I'm just a bit concerned about orientation in the air with your scheme though. I'd be inclined to add some contrasting colour panels to break up the solid black - and green. The flourescent colour should make it easy to see in the air but not necessarily so easy to work out it's orientation! A lot of scale builders have this problem because scale schemes do not make it easy to see which way the bloody model is going.

Grrrrrrr - if this bloody Yank based spell checker keeps telling me COLOUR should be spelt COLOR I will end up kicking it in the ******.
