fuselage painted as are the horizontal and vertical stabs, elevator and rudder.

i love the way the light shines through the tissue. :cheer:

wings are drying and will be ready for paint later today.

Those little Guillows kits (and others) are intended to be free-flight (ff), not radio assisted. If you attempt to put radio in, you might need to reduce the dihedral in the wing a little, alter the decalage, and ease the c of g forward a little, or you will find it VERY difficult to fly.
Free-flighters tend to be designed as one-speed models, and are built to stabilize at that one speed, and they also tend to have a more rearward c of g than an r/c model would.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

No my friend I just brought it to build to start off with now moving on to ARTF, it's on the long finger for the mo, (Blessings)

well today has been a mixed bag of progress and disappointment.

wing is nearly finished.

underside painted, top still to do and then the reg number has to be put on.

fuselage is almost all painted, side windows in and drying and1 stripe done.
not 100% happy with the one i have done, had hand shakes today and the cub sticker is not square. :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:


oh well maybe tomorrow will be better, fingers crossed.

With that covering and the sun shining that cub will look gorgeuos in the air Tony it would be a good first plane for Johnboy .With it maidened an trimmed it would be ideal .Looks lovely and stop being so critical its excellentae
