(excuse - I've been at the flying field, and can't be bothered cooking at this time of night!)
if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

I found some the other day, when having a sort-out - best before 2013, but it was Allinsons, and in a 125gm tinlet. (It now resides in the bin!) I tried all kinds to get a reliable mix, straight from the packet, mixed with sugar, even mixed with sugar in warm water, and allowed to 'fizz', then that mess added to the other dry ingredients, but the result was always the unpredictable same. Then I found a local baker who made good oven-baked bread (not steamed cardboard) and used soya-free flour - (I'm allergic to soya,

After doing a lot of self testing I have discovered I am Wheat/Barley Sensitive, Doctor agrees
Even the minute amount of wheat in an OXO cube triggers a nasty result. I bet Tony B will find that funny
Now I have to read ALL food ingredient Labels other than basic stuff. Morrisons now helping with a lot of Free From type product.
Daily life has improved immensely since I have tracked this down. BUT, I miss all the goodies I once enjoyed.
Have a nice Day, unless I don't like you.
