Trouble at Field

Weve a new neighbour,she s the one from hell.Her reputation has followed her apparently she complains to all neighbours about everything possible.She cme barging across our patch,whilst people were flying picked on one of the fglyers and promptly went into bullying mode sayine we fly over her house and she was a JP and having bought a million pound house wasnt going to allow a flying club to operate next door,even though we are some 600 mtres away with trees fields and hedgerows between us.Her house is to far away to fly near and is an area designated a no fly zone.After weeks of barracking from her to Environmental officers arrived at her home and to members of the committee were in attendance.THe end result was how sha she was informed thar the models cant really be heard unless flown close to her house which was explained we dont do,and conform to all regulations in place.I reported the facts in RCM and E about how she used her position as a JP to intimidate us following on by constantly lying to us about people flying over her house and flying at 7am whenm we dont fly until 10 am,and Timbo has closed the thread,love him

I read that thread a while back & it looked ok to me. What was the reason for closing it?

I feel that the thread was closed, because it was mentioned that she was a JP in his last post.
The RCME site seem to run scared of authority, and as soon as someone with a title is mentioned the thread is closed. It is not the first time this has happened. Maybe they are worried that their advertisers will get upset.

That was why I took the liberty of PM ing Stephen this morning, and suggesting that the thread would not have been closed on an adult site say like Model Chat. Trust noone objects to my action.

I didn't see anything wrong with any post but I don't know if any posts were deleted.
I certainly wouldn't have closed it from what I've seen.
If it had mentioned polititicians I'd have been tempted to allow some serious swearing.

I hate the way some people think their position of employment gives them authority.
In Stephens case, this woman must have thought that being a JP gave her extra rights, otherwise why mention it?
This runs throughout our society. I want a passport and a person has to sign the back of my photograph.
The form gives a list of suitable people which include, Doctor, Teacher, Policeman, Solicitor, Etc.
Why are these occupations given more status than others?

If Stephens club go through all the right channels & procedures it should make no difference that the complainant is a JP .... Unfortunately it may not work that way if someone knows the right handshake.
If it came to the point where the club lose the sight, I'd have a word with a nosey reporter & see if they want to print a story.

The meeting for the change of use was to be heard on 7th Dec.It is a fairly straight forward affair.Because we have been on the site for 26 years without complaint its virtually impossible to not have it granted.They have asked club members to send E mails confirming the length of time we have been there.2 club Committee members attended.The lady in question was there,she had an assistant,2solicitors and a barrister.The Barrister requested a prvate meeting with the chairman of the meeting.When they returned the club were permitted to ask what the meeting was about between Barrister and ChairmanIt was in fact that the barrister was bringing up that 2 microlites fly from the farm.This is nothing to do with us a.nd nothing to do with the application.It was explained that the application states The Fying of model aeroplanes,there argument was flawed.We were asked to send e mails confirming how long we have been flying there and was adjorned until 17th Dec. but the concensus was very much for the club

I'm surprised that the barrister was granted a private meeting if it had anything to do with the case. The club should have been allowed to have a representative present.
How do you know the chairman wasn't being given a funny handshake or a plain brown envelope full of cash? .... not that these things happen in our legal system.

I wonder if their barrister is going to try playing the card "The club is endangering full size aircraft" ?

Start a Harley Motor Cycle club, one or two bikes shared and no restriction on time of day on public roads.
