Unfortunately this is a person who as you correctly state has harrassed the club chairman with false accusations. He being desperate to keep the club aslive has sometimes rushed to the field to catch any culprit flying in the wrong place to find noone there. With the planning people in attendence at her house we proved that her house is to far away to fly over but still she claims models fly that far away. The house is 600metres from our strip, cannot be seen because of trees so we have markers to show where we can fly to but on our side of th trees not hers.We have a designated area to fly in which is some 400 metres from her property. We have a large photograph placed by the pitts to show areas of flying and non flying. We have surprise visits from the planning office to ensure we comply. They have never found us at fault. She is a lady with contacts but we are confident we will win.

Without all the details it sounds as though you attended a public hearing, attending any hearing without a Lawyer in this day and age means nobody listens to you.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

First move I think is to get the farmer to stop the Microlights. They tend to fly early because they like 'flat air', bumps, or even thermals terrify them.
Unfortuneately you guys are visible, and therefore a target, she's wrong, but you will never get her to admit that. The only way is time and date stamped photographs, perhaps even arrange for daylight hours observation, on a rota basis, and photograph any transgressions. Then when she complains, you will have a diarised list of transgressions and photos. What I'm saying is, you have to prove it's the microlights, 'it's not us, just isn't going to cut it.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Il have to get a postcode Poly. All the council guys are on our side they are sick of her her reputation arrived before her.The Microlights have been recently grounded as not fit to fly.All that was requested of us was proof that we have been there over 10 years which is being done by the farmer confirming how long we have been there and members e mailing the length of time and how often they fly.In fact the applicatiob goes futher than we have been recently restrited by the committee because of her.

The said lady has reared her ugly head again. This time its the car park and club house ,a caravan thats painted green and blends into the trees. The only way she could see eithr is if she was on her roof, some 500 metres away,Same sonario applies we have used them for over 25 years so should be a matter of going through proving both have been there over 10 years.

Get an injuction preventing harasment, I would suggest you have plenty of "history" as proof.

Have a nice Day, unless I don't like you.

As FTB quite rightly says , this is now harasment , and as you have won the case, surly she can be stopped.

As all have said above, can't you get the police involved now? its just getting silly and she should be stopped! You go to the flying field to get away from the nag, not to get more of it!

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.

Ive asked for her to be given my phone number because I feel its unfair on the chairman but he is a very independant person and lokes to do things his way.I agree and have written a letter as the car park is as far as I can walk and I use the caravan to rest and get warm as well as have lunch and a shelter if it rains,

Things are becoming more difficult with our neighbour so the BMFA are now involved. The lady in question has had noise levels taken. They work out to the noise of rain !.We wemt to the hearing but she was surprised to be confronted with a team from Barrister down and withdrew the application. She now has appointed a new team of solicitors who have instructed us to cease flying within 15 days .We have council approval so she is taking the council to court.I dont think its anything to do with noise or the models. She just seems to have this obsessive vendetta against us. She is remowned at the counil for compaining about all and sundry. I dont think her actions are doing her any favours. She has now taken to complaining if a car parks in the car park whether its us or not.So we recive compainta when no flying takes place. We requested permission to place noise meters on her property but she has refused.Ive never seen or met her but she sounds like a bullying aggressive piece of work and hopefully with the might of the BMFA and her attitude towards everyone we will once again win.I dont think she will ever stop.
