It is a very good concept. I always have a model of that size, great fun and very convenient. Unfortunately my last one built in about 1993 met its end last year when the original elevator servo failed.
Still, Mk II is finished awaiting test flights. All balsa ( i don't like depron) tissue over mylar, MVVS 2cc diesel ele, ail, throttle
Very pleased that it came out at 20 ounces. Get yours built Tony, you know you want to. Heres a pic of mine, maybe it will fire you up to get yours built

oh well i will work through them one at a time and at the end of it all i will have a plan fit to sell.
all i need to do now is to build the model and fly it.

but i have also printed off the fuselage section of the plan and is busy cutting out fuselage sides and formers from 6mm Depron now.
need some lite ply, must see what i can find in the scrap box tomorrow.

then over the course of the day i managed to stick a few of them together.
at the moment the two fuselage halves are gluing together and hopefully tomorrow i can sheet the underside of the fuselage and start work on the tailplane.
so far all the drawn up parts have fitted without any modifications needed. so that's worked out well

i need some snakes and servos and motor and esc before i can finish it.
tailplane and fin are well underway now.
cant do the wings until i get some more 3mm Depron as i only have scraps left now.
so all will be on hold until i get paid this month.
