i think the arse end is too fat, needs thinning down a touch me thinks.
but that would mean building a new fuselage and i am almost out of material. :(

could you you not take a wedge out and glue it back down Or lift the top and slice some off then replace the top .Or bottom It's only Depron isn't it .

I think the tailplane/fin are too small which gives the illusion of the large rear end. May look better with the elevator fitted but the fin definitely needs enlarging.

I must admit that I agree with Doug, Tony. I reckon it'd benefit from a larger span tailplane and a taller fin. You don't need to make either of them fatter.

Given that the model is made of Depron, it's a trainer and it's going to take some punishment, so the back end being a little deeper than it should be is a good thing. The larger empennage will also add stability, which is also a good thing for a trainer.

That fin looks a lot better, Tony, and the rear fuselage depth now looks in proportion with the rest of the model.

Finished painting the fin and tailplane today.
fitted the rudder and elevator snakes as well.
so if i get time tomorrow i will finish sheeting the top of the fuselage.
need some wire for the u/c and a battery box next.

finished sheeting the top of the fuselage now.
will leave the front open until after i have fitted the esc and u/c.
so i need to sand the edges round and i can cover the fuselage and make it ready for paint.

well today i bent up and glued home the elevator joiner, then fitted the elevators.
fitted the rudder and then glued the tailplane/ fin ensemble to the fuselage.
i also fitted the wing dowels.
need some wire for the u/c now and we can finish the fuselage off.

i have more depron coming on Tuesday ( i hope) so i should be able to construct the wing next week.
soon be finished and i can then start the next daft idea. :P :P
