Modelling budget was created by Si_B

Just blown my modelling budget for the next two years. A couple of models have had to fall on their sword to make way for the new jet.

Will post some pictures tomorrow as it's raining hard and I'm not getting it wet trying to run it into the house.

I'm lying......it's the next 10 years budget. Talked to my wife about it, her response......buy it and enjoy it. I am a lucky man.

Modelling budget - I got back into modelling when I stopped smoking so at the moment I feel that I can spend op to £7 per day on models.Over a year thats quite a budget.
On top of that SWMBO often buys models for me even when I protest that I have enough ;-)

Feeling a bit better this afternoon, so just slipped the wings on. She is just over 2 metres wingspan, and is mainly black underneath so a great contrast.

What engine you putting in the Gryph? My plan is for an Ultra Flash by start of next season with a 160. Intent on reaching hooligan status before I reach 50.

It's got a P100sx in it. Model is not new, but it might as well be. Would love an ultra flash, but its just a bit too much jet for my budget for one that is not already a few years old. I can't wait to fly it, my favourite move is knife edging and it will be great to have a jet that does it.

I bet that Futura is a sweet model to fly?

1.9m Futura is nice. I had it a bit overpowered and heavy with a K140. Giving it a total refurb over winter as I pulled out the nose landing gear on its last flight of the season. P100 sounds perfect for the Gryphon. I'd say that's optimum for a 2m sport jet. I look forward to hearing how it flies.
