Soldering servo wires to individual pins on those MPX connectors is fiddly and I think they are highly likely to fracture with repeated pulling and pushing. Soldering one wire between 2 pins is the next best thing but I use these PCB boards. They give a very strong platform for the wires to solder to. Alternatively Ashlocs from Fighter Aces are really easy to use. No soldering required, just crimping and they go up to 4 servo connectors. (www.fighteraces.co.uk/product/ashlock-12-way/)

I'll be at JMA Throckmorton 1 day next weekend. Probably Saturday. Will bring cam to catch your whole flight. ;)

Dom,

I've seen those but I still prefer the ashklok connectors. The set up on mine was using individual pins so two servos per connector. I think they make a great power plug, but I'm not convinced about using them for servos.

Only just got back from the states so not sure I will have time to rewire the Gryphon for the weekend. Not going to travel just to fly my Boomer as I can do that locally now. Maybe catch up at the next one and I will have a go at videoing you flying eh?

Managed a second day at RAF Wyton with my Gryphon jet.

After nearly losing her due to a wiring fault I had 5 faultless flights (apart from a tiny wing tip scrape). The photo is as we were both packing away after a great day out. No flying shots I'm afraid, just had too much fun flying.
