I need to get on with the programming of this thing! To tell the truth I'm struggling! I would have thought that most Futaba users would be English speaking, yet the manual is just awful!
Once you've programmed your name in, the next thing is to Link the RX. The TX and RX must be within half a metre, then switch on the TX, go to link in the system menu and start the link process. When the TX starts to chirp, switch on the RX. When the link process is successful the unique ID number of the RX should appear on the screen. Finally, on the same screen select INH for Telemetry.
IMPORTANT, if you are using 2 RXs (to get the extra channels) each RX must be powered separately, you link the first one (channels 1-8 ) then only do you switch on the second one and link that. It would appear that even if you are using 2 RX in the plane, your switch on procedure must be sequential. ie, separate switches for each RX. I can see a problem there if you're in a hurry to commit aviation!

Also, if you change from say FASSTest to FASST, you must re-link the RX. Even if you put a new RX in the Revolver you will have to re-link and reset all your setting!
It's a learning curve BB, you must have a structured approach, I forecast that 2 months from now we won't be able to prise the TX out of your dead fingers!
Did you know that apart from being able to set Stick tension, you can also set the speed at which the sticks return to centre?

That sounds ominous!
BB, a kindle is a portable electronic gadget a bit like an i-pad, designed to read books on. You can't download one for free, but you can download SOME books onto it, for free, once you have bought the kindle!
if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

A Kindle is a proprietory book reader from Amazon, they cost about 150quid, but you can download a program to your PC that will allow you to read Kindle format files.
Re the touch control, has anyone near you got one of these capacitive pencils that you use on some of these tablets? You could try one.
